Thresholds explores the quiet architecture of attention. The textured grounds carry emotional velocity, layered with memory, interruption, and unresolved thought. They form a living backdrop against which the portals stand as calm, intentional planes. Rectangular, luminous, and precisely defined, these portals act as contemplative spaces inviting the viewer to pause and look both through and within.

As the series has evolved, the newer works introduce deeper contrasts, purer chromatic fields, and more confident surfaces. The surrounding textures have grown more nuanced, softer in some compositions and more turbulent in others, amplifying the tension between chaos and stillness.
