My Phone My Life

My Phone My Life.png

During the Jaipur Literature Festival in Feb 2024, I noticed people were attending
the festival but phones were a very vital part of this process of participation. I
started to click and record these activities. Back home when I was editing and
collating the material, I noticed an old lady trying to dial her phone. As a doctor
I realised she was struggling with Alzheimer's disease.
I decided to weave her story into my main story. The film can be seen at two
levels. Phones have become an integral part of lives. Everything revolves around
them. However in this hum drum of life while we are busy conversing connecting
interacting someone, somewhere is struggling. The old lady tries to remember her
contact number and after repeated tries she gives up. The world around her is too
busy to care!

You read books I read Faces

During the Jaipur Literature Festival 2024 , while people were busy reading books I was reading their minds. A very interesting candid look into the human mind.
